Li Tian Yi Rape Victim Institutionalized

Li Tian Yi, the pug faced doughboy currently standing trial for his part in a gang rape, may not be making friends with the tossed salad man in the slammer quite as early as we might've hoped. The Shanghaiist is reporting that the victim who leveled the charges in the first place has been sent to a mental institution.


The woman's lawyer broke the news on Weibo. Tian Canjun said that the woman, surnamed Yang, passed out in her temporary residence around 8pm on August 21. He tweeted later that Yang came to in the hospital.
