Missing the Bowl Could Cost You 100rmb
The CCP does enjoy passing new laws. The latest being an effort to clean up the toilets in Shenzhen, with a 100rmb fine if patrons of public bathrooms miss their mark. While the intentions are good, and drafting laws gives something for politicians to do, even The Beijing Times is questioning how exactly this particular law should be enforced.

Satirizing Shenzhen Corruption
Despite his promises that he will tackle the growing problem of Chinese corruption, Radio Free Asia reports that "at least 14 activists associated with a nascent anti-graft movement have been formally arrested or criminally detained since March, on charges ranging from subversion to public order offenses."
