Peng Li Yuan Entertains Kim Jong Il

As Beijing seeks to distance itself from the batshit insanity that is the hermit kingdom of North Korea, they probably won't want much attention drawn to a video of Xi Jin Ping's wife, Peng Li Yuan singing for the diminutive God King himself, Kim Jong Il.

Receiving much in the way of comparison with Michelle Obama, Peng was named Best Dressed First Lady by Vanity Fair, much to the delight of Chinese netizens who read way too much into the accolade.

The video was filmed in 1983, when Peng was knee high to a grasshopper, aged 19.  Earlier in the year, prior to Xi Jin Ping assuming leadership of China, a photo showing the famed singer entertaining troops the day after the military crackdown on protestors in Tienanmen Square was deleted from websites.
